Newton Howard(Biography)
Professor Howard passion for science and technology began during his childhood. He pursued his interests in his studies and in 2000 while a graduate member of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Oxford, he proposed the Theory of Intention Awareness (IA). In 2002, he received a second doctoral degree in cognitive informatics and mathematics from the prestigious La Sorbonne in France. In 2007 he was awarded the habilitation a diriger des Recherches (HDR) for his leading work on the Physics of Cognition (PoC) and its applications to complex medical, economic, and security equilibriums. In 2014 he received his doctorate in philosophy from the University of Oxford for his work on neurodegenerative diseases, specifically his Brain Code Theorem. His work has made a significant impact on the design of command and control systems as well as information exchange systems used at tactical, operational and strategic levels. As the creator of IA, Dr. Howard was able to develop operational systems for military and law enforcement projects. These utilize an intent-centric approach to inform decision-making and ensure secure information sharing. His work has brought him into various academic and government projects of significant magnitude, which focus on science and the technological transfer to industry. While Prof. Howard's career formed in military scientific research, in 2002 he founded the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS) a leading Washington, D.C, national security group. Currently, Dr. Howard serves as the Director of the Board. He is also a national security advisor to several U.S. Government organizations. Prof. Howard several years of working on systems design and dynamic systems analysis in military applications, as well as his personal research experiences, led him to study the human brain.

Dr. Brian Andrews, MD/MA is an Associate Professor and the Director of Craniofacial Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, USA. Dr. Andrews completed residencies in Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Iowa and Plastic Surgery residency training at the Combined Harvard Program as well as a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the University of California- Los Angeles (UCLA) under the mentorship of Dr. Henry Kawamoto. Dr. Andrews’ clinical practice focuses on pediatric and adult craniofacial reconstruction as well as basic science research studying neurologic function associated with skull defects and disorders.

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Suleiman received his Ph.D. in Orthodontics from The Council of All-Union Scientific and Industrial Association Stomatology Advanced Faculty of Stomatology, 1991. He is a Professor in Orthodontics at the Department of Orthodontics, University of Aleppo Dental School and he was Head of the Orthodontic Department at University of Aleppo, 1993-2005, 2011-2012. He is licensed as a Consultant orthodontist by Saudi commission of specialties and Evaluated as Specialist orthodontics by MOH & DHA UEA. Dr. Al-Suleiman edited 3 books in the field of orthodontics. Dr. Al-Suleiman was Vice Dean for the Scientific Affairs at the Dental School, University of Aleppo, 1997-1999, Vice President of the Syrian Dental Association 2001 to 2006 and Member of the Curriculum Development Committee and Dental Education Workshop for the Dental College in Syria (1993) and Lebanon (1995). he was Visitor researcher to Biomaterials and Biomechanics group, school of Dentistry, Manchester University, 2008. Scientific Elective Member of council of Arab Orthodontics society (2011- 2013) and a Member of Syrian scientific Board Orthodontics.

Dr. Long received his dental degree in both medicine and dentistry (MD, DDS, Hubei Medical University) in 1983 and Ph.D. in Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, School of Stomatology, Hubei Medical University in 1997. He is a professor of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, School of Stomatology, Wuhan University. Dr. Long is an expert in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, especially in TMJ disease. He successfully performed thousands of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures conducted basic and clinical research. He has published many medical articles and edited or contributed several books. He has a studying and working experience as visiting scholar at The Second Department of Oral Surgery, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Tokyo, Japan in 1992, also as visiting scholar at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit, University of Adelaide, South Australia in 2004. He was a member of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society of the Chinese Stomatological Association from 1998 to 2012. Since 1997, he has been Vice President, China National Society of TMD & Occlusion and was a member of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society of the Chinese Stomatological Association. Now he is the president-elect of Chinese Society of TMD (Temporomandibular Disorders) & Occlusion, CSA.

Sammer Ali Bafaqeeh is a university professor in King Saud University, College of Medicine, Otolaryngology Department, Program director of KSU Facial Plastic fellowship, Facial Plastic Division Chairman & Chairman annual international Rhinoplasty & Otoplasty courses. Received higher surgical training from University Hospital of George August (Gottingen West Germany), He has trained as a clinical fellow in facial plastic surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University (Portland, Oregon, USA) Under the supervision of Prof. Ted Cook. He has invited for lectures in various national & international facial plastic surgery meetings and published many scientific papers as well as authored chapters related to facial plastic surgery in reference books. Lydia Katrova, DDM, MPH, PhD is a professor of social medicine and public health at the Medical university of Sofia, Faculty of dental medicine, Dept. of Public dental health. She graduated in dentistry in 1981, specialised in advanced general dentistry in 1988, got a master degree in social medicine in 1990 from the M-U of Sofia and a PhD degree in sociology from the University of Sofia in 1997. She specialised in France -Ethics and deontology, Germany -Health insurance, United States - Health policy in UCLA, Ethics in international medical research in Harvard School of public health. Her research works include 175 monographs, textbooks and research papers in Bulgarian, English, and French, 100 contributions at national and international congresses, conferences, and workshops in the fields of dental education, sociology of the professions, medical ethics, public health management, social medicine and prevention, dental ergonomics. She is teaching the integral courses in Social medicine, Medical ethics, Dental public health, Dental practice management to 2nd and 3rd-year dental students in Bulgarian and English, to graduate students and dental practitioners. She is an accredited lecturer of the Bulgarian Dental Association since 2010, she lectures thematic courses in Dental practice management, Ethics and deontology; Dental ergonomics, Burnout prevention. Prof. Lydia Katrova is a doctoral theses director, including international PhD students, expert of The Joint action on health workforce planning and forecasting of the E U network, invited a speaker and expert observer at the Council of Chief dental officers since 1996. She directs students research groups in Dental ergonomics, Sociological investigations, and Research methods. She is Editorial Boards Member of a number of international dental journals, project and dental curricula evaluator. Her biography is included in the Great Bulgarian Doctors Book for 2010. In 2011 she received the Association for Dental Education in Europe award for excellence in dental education for mature educators. In 2012 the Medical University of Sofia recognised her with Signum Laudis for outstanding achievements in research and teaching for 2012. He was a Chief of Surgical Services & Head of Cardiothoracic Surgery in Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Department of Thoracic Surgery in Walter Reed Army Medical Center at Washington, DC, USA. He completed his education in University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and worked as a Clinical Instructor in Cardiothoracic Surgery, University of California, San Diego from 1973-1975 and as a visiting professor in University of Sydney, Australia and Howard University, Washington, DC, USA in 1982. He served as a Senior Lecturer in the University of Ibadan from 1976 to 1984 and he was a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 1984. Mr. Kolvekar is one of the leading cardiothoracic surgeons in London, currently working at Barts Heart Centre (St Bartholomew’s Hospital), The Wellington and Harley Street Clinic and London Clinic. He is Senior Lecturer at University College London and involved in several research projects, He has a special interest in mitral valve repairs, beating-heart surgery, cardiac arrhythmias and minimally invasive cardiac surgery and is concerned with ischaemic pre-conditioning of the heart. He also has a thoracic practice dealing with lung cancer, pneumothorax and pleural effusion. Another special interest is in the field of chest wall deformity interventions. He is an internationally recognised surgeon for the adult Nuss procedure and has adapted the NUSS procedure with several new techniques for better pain control and reduced risks from surgery. He also travels abroad to lecture and teach surgeons this procedure and connate minimally invasive surgery. He has several publications in international journals and has also contributed to books.
